Not Waterfront by Hurricane Hermine/Her Meanie

Hurricane Hermine (pronounced Hermean but we called Hermeanie).

She came, she left, leaving many inches of rain, but not everything Her Meanie left behind was a bad thing.

She turned Bray Park into waterfront property. Part of the park now looks like waterfront but is NOT. She left reflections where they never were before...

Three days after she passed by the water still stands. It is beautiful and I am thinking the mosquitoes are really happy. All this beauty is standing water that will run off soon.. In the mean time...

Be Prepared for LOTS of Photos.....because I can, and did and will......POST THEM...

They ARE beautiful and you did find beauty from something bad. But I also think of Florida and Zika. I hope when you are around this, you wear a bee keeper's suit!

Those are beautiful reflections. You would find this beauty after the havoc after a hurricane, Sandra!

Neat 'X' formed by the tree in the middle and the reflection.

Good morning, Sandra! Her"meanie" was bad. The standing water is bad for the skeeters. But, it looks beautiful with the reflections. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

Sandra, I do love those photos, but hope that standing water doesn't add to the mosquito problem. I've always been deeply moved by reflection photos.

Trust you to come up with a good name for the hurricane. I love the reflections in the water and am looking forward to more pictures. There probably will be a lot of mosquitos resulting from Her Meanie, which is too bad. We don't have mosquitos here and no fleas either, which is great for the the dogs. And me.

Glad the Old Meanie has moved on . those are amazing new little lakes left by her. Lovely reflections but I sure don't like the mosquitos that like it too.
