Papaya

Papaya Tree by Bob. A friend gave him a papaya and it has 87 million seeds in it, so he planted then in buckets. This one is about 4 feet tall, the blue is our recycle container.

It takes two to mango.
Why did the banana go to the doctor? It wasn't peeling well

I took the photo for a visit to Photoshop just because

I've never seen a papaya plant before. Interesting about the seeds. I like your photos.

I thought you were going to tell us a story about your papaya and your mamaya. Can you believe I have never had a papaya?

Hello, it sounds very easy to grow a papaya plant. Do they grow tall? Cute puns! I like your cute new header, I did not notice it yesterday I must have been asleep. Enjoy your day and week ahead!

Love your header. The photoshop is neatWe call them pawpaw. They grow easily but the fruit bats eat them before we can.

It is beautiful! So shiny and healthy. Does it grow papayas? Bob is the Green Doctor, beloved by all nature.

My father was much like Bob in the planting department. He loved getting cuttings and seeds from relatives, friends, acquaintances and strangers (who became instant friends). None went to waste. Unfortunately, I inherited his desire but not the green thumb.

The leafs look a lot like our fig trees. I wonder if they are kin.

It's nice to visit photoshop every now and again and say hello, isn't it?? :-)

This reminds me of a song .... "Papaya tree, very pretty and the **** flower is sweet, but the fruit of that poor **** is impossible to eat."
(Obvious, isn't it, I can't recall the words?)

But it's fun 'listening' to Trini Lopez singing in my head. :)
