Wal-Mart is now Foxy

Foxy cookie jars and cups at Wal-Mart Just Because they were There.

When I opened the bag at the self check out at Walmart this weekend, there was a notice in the bag.

Are your READY? Wal-Mart now has Free/Easy/Online Ordering of Groceries..

I tried it and it is easy. Go to Walmart.com/grocery and check your zip code. I did mine and we have it.
Add to your cart and item at a time, after you pick your time to pick it up, it tells you the minimum order in your area, mine is 30.00.
pick your pick up time, they call to remind you, you drive to the pick up area, call the number on the text/email, they bring it to you and load it.. FOR FREE and NO tipping allowed.
how cool is that.
some areas have delivery, but there is a charge for that.
I will not use this but it sure will be handy for working people or people
who are handicapped.
My zip code says try it out and get 10 percent off your first order of 50 or more.
This could work if I am sick, I can call it in, and all bob has to do is drive up and call
The thing about that is he doesn't know how to call.

Wow! I know that a local Harris Teeter has this. They even have special parking places reserved for the online ordering. So I guess WM needs to keep up with the competition. I BOUGHT the the fox bowl! It is adorable, and on my kitchen shelf for fall decoration. WM always has the cutest seasonal decorations. AND did you see their fall mugs with the leaves and quotes on them? They are beautiful and just the kind we like...big and with a wide base. I got two and they are too pretty to use. Three dollars. Go LOOK.

Wow!!! Good to know! Louis Dean shops Walmart.....I don't unless it is an absolute necessity.Probably because it involves so much walking and my feet have not been good at that lately!

My niece in IN is using this service at WM because she hates going shopping with her 3 kids. So far, she has loved it.
Your photos of the pretties and fall decor are very nice. I think Theo looks like a fox!

This is so interesting!! But your last sentence almost made laugh out loud, and I don't dare wake our overnight guests. But that totally cracked me up!!

Hello Sandra, the foxes are cute. It is a great method of shopping if you are handicapped or sick. I like to walk around and pick out my own groceries. I can just imagine what the bananas would look like they picked out, lol.

Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

Harris Teeter has that too. I'm amazed each week at the number of personal shoppers all over the store buying groceries for folks. IF Bob is hungry I bet he will learn how to call or at least park the car and go in and ask for his groceries.
I didn't know Walmart had this service!! yay !!

Living in a senior building we have had it a year or more in this building free food delivery. I am told. We have not used it yet . We do have a bus on Wed come to the Apt door. The ladies about 20 of them go. It is 10 dollars but they go to two shopping places. the bus lady is awesome they say. They will take you to the drugstore, the hardware store. And even to a Drs appointment about 20 minutes away. Of course you make your appointment ahead. They will drop you off. And pick you up after the other ladies have finished. Everyone is a agreement to that.

So we have all the conveniences here. Yes they deliver the food here I have seen it come up to my floor for the ladies. If you have frozen goods. They put it in the freezer at the store till they are ready to leave to deliver.

That's great, and that's how I do most of my grocery shopping now - but with home delivery too (for a fee, but it's well worth it for me who don't have a car + can't carry heavy bags). I shop online twice a month and then just go to the shops for a few extras in between.

Sounds like a good idea for those unable to walk through the store.

That would certainly keep me from putting items in my cart that are not on my list!!

Wade would like this since he hates to shop but I kind of like walking around the store. A friend of mine gets all her non perishable grocery items online but she has them delivered

That makes life so much easier. Thanks for sharing Sandra.

That is the way it used to be with Mom and Pop stores. So glad service is coming back.

Wow. I may have to re-consider my ban on all things Wal-Mart! Long story short, the first/last time I was there last year I got stopped on the way out and practically frisked. I left them a nasty-gram on Facebook.

Sorry to be late dropping in. Sweet dreams!

I think I need that Fox cookie jar and pumpkin too.
Me thinks a trip to Walmart is on my agenda!
Notice I said Need...I certainly don't need those things but they really peek my interest and the colors work in my house so well.
We'll see what the outcome will be. Who knows...maybe the West Coast doesn't carry the same things as your side of the "world" does.

I don't shop on line as I like to browse in the shops when I can. It's a treat right now to get me out and about. Online shopping is convenient though. Love the foxy items. ASDA is our equivalent to Wal-mart so I shall get my hubby to take me to the big ASDA store sometime and have a look around. Wishing you a good day and glad that your eye op was a success. I'll catch up with your other news soon.
