Lunch On A Choo Choo...

Our great adventure started Friday Noonish at Bob's Train, a restaurant in Sarasota,  that is three old restored circus railroad cars from the 60's.

Lola drove Barbara and I into the parking lot and we all sat and stared at this building.

"oh my quads, girls, do you think they do Tai Cheese in there?"
I would like to lose weight but I hate losing"
"lets get on that train, we can eat, shrink and be merry...

We walked towards the entrance... Madsnapper said.. I am running out of steam, but this will be just the ticket.

After leaping up pulling myself up the stairs, I felt my stair-esteem drop a little.

The restored dining car was worth climbing the steps..the food was delish.

Our adventure was not just Lunch On  A Choo Choo... our next stop was Big Cat Habitat..

What a cool restaurant. Love the mural on the side of that building. Looks like you must have had a fun day. Does Bob know he has a train?

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I love everything about this, it is so awesome! I love trains! I don't know whether I like your regular shot or your edited one better, that is how great it is. It is all perfect. And being old circus train cars just adds to the perfectness. Wish Wish Wish I could have been with you. It would be the adventure of a lifetime for me. But, looking at your post, I HAVE sorta gone!

This was the epitome of train robbery!!! By that I mean, you showed us the inside and that you climbed in, had lunch....then you leave us hangin' on the sidetrack rail, waiting for you to conduct-or-carry-on to the next stop?!!! Teaser.

Would love to dine here!!

I'm glad you had a good time. I think I would enjoy doing that someday!

That's so cool, Sandra!
My mother and I used to travel aboard the train from Lamy, NM to Minnesota each summer; quite a thrill for an adolescent.
I'm definitely putting this on my 'to-do' list if/when I get back to the Gulf coast!

That looks like a lot of fun, but I was hoping for a shot of the food! You know me...it's all about the food. lol! There is a town we pass through when going to Branson that has a railroad car attached to the restaurant that you can go into to eat. We haven't taken time to go but it sure does look interesting.
