For me, it is always good to look DOWN. Did you take all these on the same day? I would buy the boots in the first picture. The fur ones look just a tiny bit like they could be worn by a hoochie mama. Yes, we will be voting!

Hi Sandra, fascinating selection of footwear. I would buy the jewelled sandals on that old foot. I love the Scottie in the last photo. Thanks for sharing. Jo

Hello, the boots with fur seems a little too much for Florida. I like the doggie in the last photo. Have a great day and week ahead!

Remember when flip flops only came in the cheap rubber? And I couldn't wait for them to become available every year. And we would wear them totally out...

I will be voting today! I hope everyone votes, this country needs to get back to what really matters, like people wanting to hurt us!

funny about the boots, I wear flip flops with sweathers here in the winter at times. lol I do own more boots than I ever had before, maybe because I'm living in NC and no longer Florida. :)

Love this! I especially love the high heeled boots and dog. I'd wear high heels if I could. I haven't been able to wear them for years. :-)
Got up really early and voted as soon as the polls were open. Have a wonderful day.

What's a hoochie mama?? I don't think they have them in Wisconsin. LOL

Love this!

I think the furry boots are color coordinated with the dog.

I prefer short haired dogs but I have a weakness for wire haired terriers.

I'm laughing at Ginny's comment about the boots looking like they would be worn by a hoochie mama. I was kind of thinking along the same lines....lol

Boot camp? What a great play on a phrase!
I always liked the idea of wearing boots but my calves are too thick to get away with it.

I'd rather wear flip flops. lol! I have been seeing boots here while others are still wearing flip flops on the warmer days. The furry topped ones aren't very attractive to me, unless there is snow on the ground and it's very, very cold. I voted and now I'm nervous watching returns. Doing some blog reading in between peeks at the news.

Even thiugh we live in NH, I also saw all tuoes of footwear at the polling place we went too...sandals, flip-flops, slippers, boots and just shoes. The temps have been very mild here this fall. Enjoyed your photo essay and cleaver post title.
