Cinco De Mayo Day

There was a dance teacher who talked of a very
old dance called the Politician.
"All you have to do" she told her
class
"is take three steps forward, two steps backward, then
side-step
side-step and turn around."

What type of music do cows like to dance to?
any kind of moosic you play for them.

Why don't dogs make good dancers ?
Because they have two left feet !

Photos from Cinco da mayo day at the home where I volunteered... year 2007

Wow!! These are gorgeous and keep getting better! The first two are equally pretty in color or black and white. The woman in the green, I love how the sun is shining on her face and hair. The dresses and skirts are all so amazing, who knew they could be ART when they dance? Especially the black and white checkered, wow, it is gorgeous! It is like all skirts, no people.

I first look and think how beautiful....then I next wonder who made the outfits....how many yards of material did it take....wow, someone is talented!

I always wonder how many yards does it take for the dresses on the old westerns, especially.

Oh my the assisted living facility where you volunteered must have had the most amazing activity director. all the fun things she did for the residents.
Love the dance instructions.
Madi says to tell you she made a liar out of me just yesterday. Crazy cat ust have 'sensed' today's post. there will be a retraction soon. LOL

Bright and Beautiful photos.
When our son found himself stationed in CA and we were talking to him on May 5, we asked what today was (our anniversary). He replied Cinco De Mayo. How quickly they forget.

Love the splashy colors of Cinco de Mayo.
The folks at that home were so lucky to have all of you putting a spark in their days.
The first clock shown on my blog , (the one my folks gave us) is really a beautiful one. the "bong" sound is lovely but after having it working in our last home, we decided to not have it working here.
The reason was it chimed every 15 minutes, one at 15 after, 2 at the half hour, 3 at 45 minutes and then the full chime of the time. It started to drive us crazy...so now the BONG is gone!

Two left feet? Bahahahah.
Wow, 2007. I wonder if those ladies are still dancing. Bet they're in far better shape than lots of people who frequent the fitness 'clubs.'

Beautiful Dresses! Wish I could dance, I wiggle pretty good, and people wiggle with me, but I won't call it dancing!
