Buggin YoU

About 4 months ago, I brought this dead beetle in the kitchen, laid it on the table to take photos of it. I forgot it was there, and when I remembered, the beetle was GONE.
Not There!
Did Jake eat it? Was it not dead and flew away? Where did it go?

A few of the questions we pondered. Then I forgot about it. While cleaning out the bedroom closet, I saw a big bug under the ironing board and thought what is that. Carefully shining a flashlight and ready to RUN, I found the dead beetle.

How did he get there? Who knows? Has he been there for four months?
But the lucky thing is, he was perfect foto fodder for the new PIP Camera App on my Tablet.

There are 3 bottles with subtle differences.
out of the camera
Would you believe me if I said I played for 2 hours taking photos with it the first day I found it?
This app works on phones or tablets...

Battle of Swatterloo!!! This is priceless.

I've had many of those kinds of battles...with cockroaches!! Those nasties just don't wanna die. Yes, I swatter them!!!

Love the purple beetle.

Oh, and ironing board? Y'know that IRON is a four letter word, don'tcha?

What? He was dead, for sure? I have to remind myself that you are in sunny, warm Florida. We are cold and gray here, our doors and windows are locked up tight, even then our electric bill was $480 last month! I loaded the pip app last night, I hope I can play with it today. Your photos are amazing! Keep em coming!

Ghostbugster ... lol!

I'm not fond of beetles, but must admit he's (she's?) had a pretty coat of armor!
That second image reminds me of that old line, "The Shadow knows ...."

A creepy resurrected zombie bug! How much better can it get! LOVE it! When you first found it, it must have been in a COMA! Or else it is a real Zombie Beetle. I like your story better than the pictures today!! Bottled Beetle looks like a science exhibit. Prepared by the Mad One. To quote Frankenstein "It's ALIVE!!!!!"

Since that first picture is what looks like a perfume bottle does that mean that is a stink bug?

I often find dead beetles and admire their colors. I always place them in one of my flower pots. :) I do wonder what the story is with your beetle?? cool photos!
