Historical Village - Gazebo

I am married to an Oak Tree. Once Bob roots in a home, he starts to sing I shall not be moved and he will not. Before I married him 32 years ago, I had never lived more than 3 years in one home. I moved in his home and we lived there 4 years and I dragged the Oak Tree here and now it has been 27 plus years.
I love to move to new places and have lived in 21 homes/apts in my lifetime, compared to his 7. He has lived in Florida 46 years, 3 homes, my 33 years in Florida 5.

Tree PUNS? they are oakay, if I maple another one. Have they become over-elming to you?
The Church on this property and the grounds are often rented for weddings...

So would you like to move? Now that I am old and have so much stuff, I would never be able to do it. It would be a massive undertaking. This is a gazebo? Oh, now I see, it is separate from the building. At first glance, it looks like the porch. What a beautiful place, and a huge shade tree.

Hi Sandra, your post is indeed food for thought. I've moved many times but now have settled for good. I'm sure! Love the gazebo and church. Greetings Jo

I have moved a lot, too. I hope I won't ever have to move again. I sure love these pictures and that last edit. And the puns! Hope you have a good time at TOPS today.

Hello Sandra! I love the pretty gazebo and the cute house. If you count Florida I have moved 4 times. Three of them were with hubby. I love the trees and the puns. Enjoy your day!

Well this explains it all now we know why Bob likes it on top of houses...

I have moved many times of my 55 years married with same
sweetheart.

Last move now. Into the senior apt.

No maintence. Cutting grass. the list goes on.

The next place will be cremated or if I am half wits about me.
We have nursing home.

The moving here was fault of mine. We had movers but thought was best I declutter. Family wanted to help but silly old Grandma here. Did it myself. I was a wreck for a week after.

Sid decluttered his and surprisingly how men don't get so attached to things.

When I got here. I still decluttered.
My selfish problems is clothes and my Victorian dishes..

We have four Seasons of the year not one beautiful Season. So we need more choices. No I am not a hoarder but if I did not declutter. Who knows.

I am sort of with Bob...but when we were young we moved about 5 times in two years and I think that wore me out on moving. And then we moved Rogers mom I 3 or 4 times...so had enough of moving.

I would agree with Bob. I have moved twice in my life, once when I got married and then 20 years later we moved to town. I guess there may be another move sometime, to a smaller place, but I'm not looking forward to that. I'll just stay where I am for as long as possible.

Oh dear. I just did the math and discovered I've lived in this house 13 years now... a place I didn't care for all that much even when it was new. :(

I'm like you, and prefer new/different spaces.
OK, back to the pencil and paper. From the day I discovered America (credit blog pal Jack for that turn of a phrase), I've called 20 different places 'home.' Ready to meet #21!

Bud's the very same. I tease him when he says he misses the Rocky Mtns....I know it's 'cause he gets turned around down here in Texas...no mountains to show him where WEST is. When I was a kid we moved a lot, after married life for me...just one house we had built, and then...Tucson and TX.

OAKie dokie. I'm leavin' ya now.

That church looks like a good place for a wedding.
I've lived at 7 different addresses in my life. The last 29 years have been in the house I'm in right now

We had a very old pecan tree in our back yard when I was growing up. I love a shady yard. As an adult I have lived many places, too. Each place had its own beauty.

I've lived in a lot of places too, but haven't kept track. Now you got me wondering. Should I start to count them all? Maybe. Will let you know.
