Osprey OPP

I came out of my TOPS meeting (down 1 more pound this week, total 16) and there was a man standing by his car holding up his phone, I grabbed my camera from my car and focused. The Osprey was so far away it required the full 60 zoom to see it. I snapped the shot and he took off, the Osprey, not the man.  my camera is so slow I missed most of it. he flew out of the photo, leaving me with the only option... put both pics in on collage.  I think this looks like Mr. And Mrs. Osprey...

Eat your hearts out, Hootin Anni, Eileen and Ruth, my 3 Birder Blogger Friends... and what is a bird pic but an opportunity to play in PicMonkey?

LOL....'eat your heart out'....gotta giggle at that dear Sandra. Now to think about it all, I would've never EVER dreamed of infusing TWO images into one like this. That's awesome. And love the effect. It's a treasure.

Oh, lucky, lucky you! I have only seen one osprey in my entire life...at least that I knew for sure was one.

I love Osprey, they are just usually up so high and you really need to zoom to see them. Your photos turned out really well.

That osprey photo is amazing! Such an action shot. Love it! And congratulations. Well done, you, for losing 16 pounds so far! I spent the weekend seeing how much I could gain in a weekendl. :-(( Family was here all weekend and it was a birthday weekend besides, so I totally fell off the wagon and hit hard on the pavement. Back on this morning. Have a wonderful day, Sandra. Loved that birdshot! :-)

DOUBLE WOW!!!! Ospreys are special, they are the only eagles in this country that fish. I actually like the EDIT BETTER than the original picture!!! Your camera my be slow, but with that zoom, you got the perfect picture!! I am loving this! YES, whenever we see someone LOOKING, we must grab our cameras right away. Fantastic job, fantastic post, I have goosebumps.

I never would have guessed this is a composite! Those talons are crazy!
"Mrs." Osprey almost looks like she's asking, "Seriously, you're REALLY going that way?"
