The List.. no not the movie

The List is my 'exercise' list for helping me lose weight. Because I love to play and play on the internet (THINK creating above collage).
I devised a way to exercise, to get me up and moving. Force myself to Clean up all the things I hate to do the most. Remove from drawers/cabinets/closets etc Everything, clean/purge/replace
Do you see anything dangerous in the photo above?

Here it is..
I removed 2 large black trash bags of STUFF from these cabinets and drawers and in the process I was Stabbed In The Spur on the top of my left foot.
The organizer fell from my busy hands ON POINT for the plastic spiral to land exactly on the arthritis spur in the exact spot to cause the most PAIN.  It bled gallons a few drops of blood and hurt so bad I was hopping and yelling OW! OW! OW!
( now that I type this, the hopping was good exercise)
It's been 3 days and it still hurts when I wear shoes.

The Good news is, I found this.

12 years in the drawer, each time I cleaned it out, I put it back. IT IS GONE! In the Trash. Remember Exercise is where you find it, but be careful out there
TO BE CONTINUED............

I should take more exercise I know but all the things I love to do involve sitting on my butt. Scrabble, crochet, sewing, tv, and even eating, lol

Hello, jumping up and down in pain does not sound like exercise to me.
It is hard letting stuff go sometimes. I can not count how many went to our local Goodwill store. Have a happy Wednesday!

OUCH that hurts to read it. My left ring finger was cut many many years ago.
Actually I was a child. Still have a scar and if I per chance hit that scar I see stars...no stripes...just stars

You are even funny about a painful accident (the exercise). I am so sorry, this seems extremely painful! Why is it that when something falls, the absolute worst part of it lands on us. Does it only hurt when you wear shoes? OUCH! I do the same thing! I always have a list of things to clean out! I love it, it gives me a purpose and looks so good when done! It calms me down to clean out drawers and cabinets. But what will we do when we are completely done?? It takes me so long that It will probably be time to start over by then. Are you limping? Take it easy for a few days and keep your foot up. I have PAIN patches, prescription ones that have lidocaine. Let me know if you need any and I will send them. They only work locally on the skin, so no drug danger.

I definitely need to do some purging too. Some of my cabinets are really getting out of hand.
Funny how I always find something else to do instead though.
Hope that foot of yours feels better .

You seem to be an accident ready to happen. Me too.

I tripped over my bed blanket corner which was dragging a tiny bit from my bed so got my toe stuck in it and I went flying straight to my computer seat. Bang. How convenient was that. I got a bruise on my arm.

I do the cleanout drawers and all. They count as an exercise diary.
I applaud you for your weight loss.
I am not so lucky to lose the weight as fast of you on scale but my inches in my clothes in waist and jeans, t-shirts . Yes.

Hi Sandra, each year I vow to do that, CLEAN, CLEAN and CLEAN more. My home used to be so clean (organizing has not really ever been a big thing.....but it was clean)!! So far, I have not made it back to that part of my life. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and even though I knew it, it really was a slap when a doc told me a year ago that I was not the person I used to be! Wow....go figure. Anyway....good luck with all that cleaning, sort, and organizing! I am hoping that with my surgery, weight loss that it will help with the fibro and I can get back to that PLACE!I would kind of like to see that OLD PAM again! Keeping on going Sandra! Thanks for coming by the blog and leaving me such a cool comment. You know, my life's thought - just keep on smiling. It might not change things but it will help you to deal with things!

I need to do that. Clean that is, and not hurt myself in the process!

Oh no, no, noooooo! Gravity sounds like a real witch (with a 'b').
I started purging our pantry this weekend (with a vengeance) and felt so stinkin' proud of myself ... only to hear from DH today, "Did you happen to see a bottle of ketsup?" (Guilty, party of one.)

I don't know what comes over us (to purge every now and then), but at the end of the day it feels soooo good!

Ouch! I hate when things like that happen. One time when I stubbed my toe and it had me hopping around, the ingrown nail piece that was still embedded popped out. I guess I hit it just right and it turned out to be a good thing, but was it ever painful for a while.
I need to get back to the cleaning out and purging stuff. I start and then get sidetracked and quit.
Hope your foot is better!

Ouch! I feel for you. Hope the pain disappears soon. I am still cleaning out stuff around here and seem to get bruises every day, not really remembering any hard knocks. Now yours I would have remembered :(

It's the little things that can hurt the most it seems. And, it also seems that we were both sorting through office supplies this week, Sandra. I too was re-organizing our stuff and today brought some not-needed supplies to a local thrift store, along with some never-used items. Hope your foot feels better soon...you can take a break from organizing till then :-)
