Bob's Dream Car

When I met my husband Bob in 1984, all he talked about was one day owning his very on 40's Willy's Coup in Candy Apple Red.....

I gave him the apple of his eye for  his birthday in 1985.
Sigh........

A. Yellow not red

B. It is only 4 inches long...

He drove it a few times in my PIP app roadway and I PIP-snapped a few shots for him to stir up memories

And his dream car floated off into never-never land.
The TOY now lives in the garage with his Dale Earnhardt Photo, his dog photos, a rubber lizard, snake and shark.
All on the same shelf.
Such is Life. He has the PIP of a life with ME thus no need for a 40's Willy's Coup

It is adorable, and he is a LUCKY man!!! For a tiny car, it sure goes on a lot of adventures! It is the APPLE of his eye, and why not. Not many cars can drive on a leaf or are the star joker, and go on a balloon ride. But best of all is YOU...up up and AWAY!!!! Reach for the stars, and snap them when you get there. Madly, of course...

A little bit of candy apple red paint could quickly turn that little car in to the car of his dreams. Changing the size is going to be a little trickier though :)
You're a better prize than some old car anyway

Hello, it is a cute car. I have to admit I am not a car enthusiast. I do not know much about the vintage cars. I like your hot air balloon edits. Happy Saturday! Wishing you a happy weekend!

I'm sure it has lasted longer than the real thing... And it needed no maintenance... :)

You are a real PIP (HOOT), lol. I smile every time I see your creations. They are always very cleverly done. I am enjoying mine too and have used a couple on my blog. Loved Bob's three inch car. I always wanted a Model T Ford. I used to see these rusted out shells in North Dakota on the family homestead and could truly have taken one home with me if I could. I loved those rusty old things and could imagine the family driving them way back when in their younger years, beautiful even in that state. I am sure Bob thinks a lot of this model, maybe I ought to look for one of my own :)

At least you thought of him and knew what he wanted...even if you only gave him a miniature verson!

How is the surgery spot looking?

That's such a cute and thought-full gift! :) Never mind its size, I'd wager the memory of that birthday makes him smile every time he sees it. (Not a bad rep, getting to share space with Dale Earnhardt!)
