Top of My Fridge to YOU

What is on top of your fridge? I am digging to the bottom of the barrel for this post. I have several but will wait until IRMA is gone and we are waiting on Jose..

The red bucket had flowers in it many Christmas ago.. my weeding gloves, Jake hair brush, my sun glasses and Hat... Tell me what is on yours please. I need some entertainment to take my mind off you know what....

We are in Wait Mode In Front of the TV watching the storm change every few hours, she will go here there and anywhere.
I feel so loved by all the emails, comments and FB messages you have sent me.

Think of Florida at the pin ball machine and Irma as the Ball. When she touches land she will shoot all over and anywhere. If this is my last post I LOVE YOU ALL! Can you tell my fretter is on HIGH ALERT?

Yes, I can tell... Mine would be too - it almost is just by knowing you and one or more other blogging friends are right in that high risk zone! (and nothing I can do) ... On top of my fridge is a cupboard that goes all the way up to the ceiling, as do all my kitchen cupboards. So there is nothing on top! (In the cupboard over the fridge, some cartons of cereal, some rice biscuits, and my empty thermos flasks. I'd magic them over to you if I could...)

I can imagine your fretter meter had redlined by now. I can't say that I blame you. I've been thinking about you and hopeing all is well. I also have a cousin who lives in Bradenton another that lives in Daytona and Wade has a friend who lives in Miami

Now lets see, on top of my fridge is my lunch bag. There is also a bird house and a water filter thing that we bought a long time ago and never use.

Oh Sandra, I can just feel your stress-meter rumbling and rising. Please be assured that people around the world are praying for your safety. Mmm. I now have a bar fridge on a coffee table and I have to concentrate that IT stays on top when I whip the door open! Nothing on top of it except dust from our dry weather. Bless you all. Jo

I keep the yummy treats on top of the fridge when Kaedyn is coming to visit so she will eat her supper first! I am sorry for all the people affected by Irma. With tornadoes here, they are sudden and quick. You guys have to dread a hurricane for a week.

If you lose power all are fret-meters will be on overload until we hear from you.
On top of my fridge is grease residue, grr. It's like a magnet for that stuff. In addition is a handmade basket that my grandmother got from the blind association where they were made. I keep telling myself it's a dumb place to put it but it looks nice. And a fly swatter.
So guess what I will do today? Clean the top of the fridge. I put wax paper up there last time which should help but that doesn't cover the mechanical gizmos like I see on on yours too.
Be safe.

You would not want to see my fridge...it is used as shelving for cereals. No room in cabinets.

I have been watching Irma off and on, too. I am even fretting a bit for you! Keeping you and Bob in my prayers...every day.

I'm thinking of you and praying for you and Bob! You were my first thought when I heard that Irma was changing course. Stay safe. And what's on my refrigerator is a first aid kit.

MS this is not by any means the bottom of the barrel post. Quite interesting and we like the bucket but you knew we would right?
We went to sleep and woke up with you 3 and all of our Florida friends on our minds.

Before 2006 you might have found me madi on top of the fridge(mom says she must dig out some old fashion photos of that for the blog seee this was a great idea you gave mom). After 2006 when the kitchen remodel was completed our new fridge slipped into its own cubbyhole. Now there is 1" clearance and probably some dust bunnies on top.
Hugs madi your bfff and mom

I found the photos of Madi before the kitchen remodel. I'll post them on tuesday. Thank you for the excellent idea!!

Sending you love and hugs and purrs

Hello, they started talking about Irma so early. It seems to be moving slow for such a big storm. Our fridge top is like a shelve for our cereal and some extra paper towels. I will keep you and all of Florida in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe!

I know you will both be fine. Prayers work, and you are in a good place in Florida. That is all we can do. That looks like a Chick-Fil-A cap! I love them, and must get one! The top of our fridge is crowded with stuff we have no room for elsewhere. Most of Phil's snacks (he can reach them, I cannot) a few pretty recipe boxes on a tray in the front. I need to clean it off! But where will I put the stuff...

I know the hit of HER will be rough but the wait sometimes seems forever. Bless your heart. Where in Fla. are you. I am keeping an eye on the map and watching the news. As for what is on the top of my fridge....DUST! Haha......I just walked in from the deck to look....and I have decided I need to do cleaning! There is a clown cookie jar, a tin, a cake plate, basket of fake fruit, empty egg cartons and a bottle of Vodka! haha....nope, not drinking it. Had it for making vanilla that is curing in the closet but I think I let my vanilla beans get to old.....we will see. Stop laughing at me! :)

I would be a basket case if I were in your shoes. On top of my fridge may be a little dust, but that's all.

As they say on HGTV, what a great POP of color!

I keep old baking sheets top of our fridge, plus one of those tall bottles of fake fruit (?) floating in oil ... destined for the garage sale. Suppose anyone wants stuff like that anymore?

Like so many, my mind and my heart are in Florida. 'So encouraged by your updates ... thank you! Sending my love and prayers!

High alert up here in Tallahassee too! I wish it would just stop changing course, but then that's what hurricanes do. I'm trying not to watch the weather channel constantly, but I can't help it!

I'll return to blogging in another week or so, but I had to drop by and tell you that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe!!

On top of my fridge is a plant and sometimes a kitty cat. Not everyone has one of those on theirs, I'll bet. lol!

Thank you for reminding me I need to dust up there. Nothing is on top so it is easy to forget about it. lol I am clear on the other side of the states, and wondering if I am more nervous for you than you are. I will do a happy dance after it is all over and I know your safe.

I have a beautiful old ceramic bowl (was probably a wash basin) on mine... filled with 100s of small lego pieces I found at a charity shop.... I will pull them out one day for the girls.

We have a built in fridge in this house but at my other houses I've usually had a decoration on top of the fridge. I'm not a person who likes things on top of the fridge like cereal boxes, it's just not me.
