Creative Genes

My son Dan, received at birth, quite a few 'creativity' genes. He loves Halloween and always has, at age 50 he loves all thing Horror.. Each year he is in charge of designing and setting up the Halloween House at the yacht club where he is the dock master.

He message me the photos of what he is creating now...

When complete, the coffin will be occupied I am sure. He builds all of this himself and is a talented painter.

He sent me a pic of the mannequin, see insert and now I am wondering just what she will look like by Halloween... I  PicMonkey/zombie  her to show you what I can do, but mine is in software, he has the skills to make her REAL..

OH, those blue eyes!!! That would be your son, not the mannequin. But I'm sure I have said that before. I can't wait to see it all finished!! Looks like he has his dream job.

You sure do have a talented and creative son.
I'm not fond of "horror" but he certainly does it well.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

That is really cool what your son has come up with. I love it. Very creative. Please by all means shoot him to link to that blog on things I upcycle. I love sharing what I do. Because I love doing it I used to spend a lot of time in Goodwill....hence the reason my craft room was moving from the room to the hall! I have packed thing up and still have more to do and I am moving all to the shed except for my paints and jewelry making stuff. I will work from there if I must. But I had to take my home back.

You must be so proud! Are you and Bob going to attend? Who needs Hollywood special effects when you've got Dan?!

Seems like your son, Dan, also has a creative mind. Thanks for sharing the details of the upcoming Halloween bash. I have never been to one of these events and honestly have no desire to either. That said, lots of folks enjoy haunted houses and Dan's decorations are sure to scare some folks!

Your son is very talented! And cute, too. There is a spooky house I pass by when we go to the Big Town. Of course, they're only open during the fall season. The parking lot was full the other evening and I jokingly asked BG if he wanted to take the tour. Heck no! Haha...I was only kidding about going in, I would be a bigger chicken than anyone. I don't like being scared!
