Each flower is turning into a cherrie... YAY~ Yamini gave me the link to photos of Surinam Cherries HERE and article HERE. I posted photos of the flowers HERE on Feb 24th, it has been one month since the flowers bloomed.

Are these in your yard? Do you eat them? I studied upon them a bit, they do not taste like regular cherries, and are an acquired taste.

I couldn't see all 8 in the picture but I found them once I enlarged. I remember those flowers. Very cool. I didn't follow the links but are they edible? Have you tried them?

You'll have to cultivate more of these if they are edble, but if not, worth it for the flowers.

Looks like you'll have to find a few more if you're gonna get a cherry pie out of the deal. Lol

That's a lot of fruit in so short a time - not bad for a first harvest! YAM xx

Oh I hope these grow out for you! Yum. I love cherries, but rarely buy them fresh. Every now and then I buy the candied ones for salads. If I lived in FLORIDA, I bet I could grow anything!!
