This must not be a chain, because I've never heard of it. Shortly after we first met, you did a post on a fast food place similar, but I can't remember if it was this one. I'm guessing they are like McDonalds, and wonder how they can compete. I guess they have their own specialities.

ReplyDeleteWe used to have Checkers and they closed. I love their retro look. I also love those strange things at Selby Gardens you posted yesterday. I was so busy showing them to my husband, I forgot to comment.

We used to have Checkers here in TN --but I think they are all gone now... None of the newer fast food places seem to make it up here. We have MacDonald's, Burger King, Hardee's (my fav), Wendy's, Arby's, Sonic, ---and I'm sure more...

These are neat nighttime pictures of the fast food restaurant. I don't think I've ever been in a Checkers, but I do remember seeing them in daytime. They look pretty at night.

ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with Checkers but then we now live in a small town. You asked if we had Sonic. Not here but I think they are in some of the larger cities here in WA. We do have one small drive-in called The Ice Berg but our A&W has become a drive-thru. I kind of miss living in a larger city sometimes (only sometimes).
