Lift Up Your Heads

7 Lift up your heads, O you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
the LORD mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is he, this King of glory?
The LORD Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
Selah

  1. A lovely gate, and I like that shadow from the flower pot as well.

    There is a Swedish advent psalm I love which is based on that psalm from the Bible.

  7. There is a fabulous arrangement of this scripture which I have sung many times through the years... Your video surprised me --since it wasn't what I expected... Very nice though---and a FABULOUS scripture.

  9. Lovely post Sandra. The shadow of the flower pot and the gate really make the shot, I also like the little cherub figures in the corner. Hope you had a great weekend.
