 How many rose gardeners does it take to change a lightbulb?
One, but if it doesn't start producing light soon enough they're pulling it out.

How many rose breeders does it take to change a lightbulb? As many as it takes...first they need to agree on whether its a new class of lightbulb or not.











How many rose enthusiasts does it take to change a lightbulb?



One to gather the lightbulb, one to exhibit it and a whole society to sniff, gather and talk about it.

    Up early this morning because we're babysitting all day. Eyes half closed, ugh!! But these roses have already made my day!!! You know, I never used to like roses till George. Seeing his, and readng about them has really made me like them now. These are truly stunning, I bet George will LOVE them! Each picture, I was going to say is my favorite. Till I got to the next one. The first three are amazing, they deserved to be the first ones. Thanks for brightening my day tody!! Did you smell them? Does each kind have a different smell? I asked George that once, but don't remember what he said.

    I was just looking at my wife's rose bushes this morning as I was removing the latest snowfall from the driveway and thinking that under the right lighting and angle these dried up curled brown leaves may look interesting.

    So beautiful. I especially like the images you captured with the light coming though the outside petals. Oh wait, I liked those buds, too. And the rest. Like Ginny, I wonder if they were fragrant or more like roses from the florist. They have to have a wonderful scent; I can smell them from here.

    Oh WOW Sandra, Makes me want to drive down there right now just to see those roses.... Many of them look like ones in our yard... They are GORGEOUS..... I get excited just seeing them. Thanks for sharing.

    All of the roses are gorgeous but I love the yellow roses best. Hate to say I did not get most of the jokes. Guess I will have to have Snapper II explain them to me tomorrow......

    This is why I like taking pictures..they truly last longer (lol)..Serious, you can pick and twirl them from the stem, sniff and stare then put them in your hair- but, if you don't have time, a picture is worth more than a dime..I didn't mean for this to rhyme accept for the end..ha ha. Love this whole post!! What a nice variety of beautiful colors-
