The Rebel & The Benches

Please except my apologies for the number of photos, but I picked the Rebel up off the bench and it had a life of its own and would not stop snapping at the benches.
Color Me indecisive! There is lots of room for all of you to sit and be comfortable as you scroll.
Hope you have a scroll ball on your mouse!

I saved my two favorites for Last.....

  1. I think you've captured every angle..the leaves on the iron benches are one of my favorites!! What a gorgeous place. I was thinking what a perfect place to have lunch! I could imagine just sitting under the trees with a mug of coffee and just write..and of course take pictures (my dog would appreciate it but wouldn't know if they were allowed? Great series-

  3. That is funny to see so many benches at what looks like the edge of the forrest. Very nice.

  4. I think they are neat. There's so many things you can do with a camera. And so many more if you have a GOOD CAMERA!!! I don't and probably never will. :(

  5. I could have handled a few more shots of the benches while I finished my second cup of coffee! Yes, the Rebel does have a mind of it's own. I've heard that Stephen King is writing a horror novel about just such a camera!!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  9. I will be honest, when I read your text, I thought "Benches, really?" But wow! It works! My favorites are the leaves on them and the round designs on the top back edges. In fact, not really ENOUGH pictures for me, I would have liked a few more macros!! Now you know I'll be looking at benches everywhere I go! I don't think I ever see more than one or two at a time, though. Yours must be in front of that pavillion. Great job!!!

  11. Ha! I have Rebel too...and they do have minds of their own. In this case your Rebel was right to take so many photos. :)

  12. Reminds me of an outdoor place of worship. COOL! what great snaps. My rebel has been snoosing because it's so dull here still!

  13. You and the benches had quite the photo shoot. They were the perfect subject. I love them. I think my favorite would have to be the second to the last one.

  14. Okay I am going off on a tangent here - but I am a romantic - I see a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding - it would be so romantic - I'd have my daughter get married there.
    I loved all the benches.

  15. Doesn't it get frustrating when a Rebel has a mind of its own? The saving grace is that they always take wonderful pictures such as these.

  16. Cameras do seem to have a mind of their own at times but for some reason I still don't consider them to be the least bit pesky!

I love the next to last shot, that one would also look great in monochrome.

  19. What IS this place? The benches must be facing some kind of stage or something or else it would just be... weird...? I love the photos, but they make me really curious...
