Q: What did the confused bee say?
A: To bee or not to bee!
Q: What do bees do if they want to use public transport?
A: Wait at a buzz stop!
Q: What is the bees favorite film?
A: The Sting!
this is my favorite, wish he were a little clearer, he looks like a mini helicopter
A: The shortest distance between two buzz-stops!
A: A little humbug!
You got some really good shots of the that bee. I can often be found chasing bugs around my back yard in an attempt to get their picture. Most are not very cooperative...lol
ReplyDeleteIts a big black bee, its lost its yellow stripes. Good captures of the busy fellow.
ReplyDeletetoo funny....you have great bee humor....

ReplyDeleteYou're lucky to have bees in your garden - they are quite necessary you know.
Great pics and glad you had a zoom in camera.
Superb clarity in your pictures... Your bees don't look like our bees (ours are striped and kind of furry)

ReplyDeleteFun post but you should bee-carful they sting bee-lieve me it hurts. I am glad you got a buzz from taking these Sandra but just remember BEE SAFE.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful pictures of the bee. I really like the one of the bee in flight. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteThese are beeeautiful:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I am very impressed that you got that close. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteYour bee reminds me a lot of the Blue Orchard Bees that I see here sometimes, they like all the apple orchards in our area. I don't know if they live that far south but if that is an Orchard Bee you could have gotten even closer. They are very shy bees, pretty much the only way to get stung by one is to grab it. They are also solitary and don't swarm.
