Bray Park and the MadSnapper

Live Oaks in Bray Park, about 3 to 4 acres just like this
We live 2.5 miles from the entrance to Bray Park. It is massive, it covers 120 acres and has 3 acre off leash Dog Park, hubby flies in one of the fields, well, he doesn’t fly, he flies his RC planes there.
See below the word ME shows the woods above from Google Earth and Hubby is where he plays with his planes.
Yesterday I took Me, Myself and My Rebel and Coolpix for a 1 1/2 hour browse for new post pics.
 The first thing I noticed were these leaves shining in the sun and as I stood and tried to figure out what was eating on them, I snapped just a few shots.


 When I walked around the tree, I realized it is a Purple Orchid Tree. Tomorrow I will show you the Orchids and then LOOK OUT for all the Stuff I found...... over 100 pics and enough Fence Foto's for a month of Friday Fences.

    I love the blooms of the Purple Orchid Tree in your header. Can't wait to see the whole tree. Bray Park looks like a fantastic park to explore and find tons of photo ops.

    Exciting! If these pictures are a foretaste of what is to come,I can hardly wait. It can be very easy to get 100 or more pictures in an area.Looking forward to upcoming posts.

    Oh I love those trees. Oh what a wonderful, magical place to be able to visit!!! -happy sigh-

    Hubby is a flying enthusiast, hu. My good friend makes such planes. :-)

    Impressive park! It's got something for everyone, including puppy dogs. :) The orchids are so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing more.

    If your header is a foretaste of pictures to come, I can hardly wait. Have you found out what is eating the leaves. We've had so many trees destroyed by pests in this area that I would hate to see something happen to the trees in this beautiful park.

    Oh, I love days when I have time to explore. Most of the time it's rush, rush, rush to get from one place to another. Less than 3 minutes and I better have the picture made. Love what you found and hope you have a good rest-of-the-week.

    Love that first shot of all the trees. That looks an awesome park. That also sounds like a lot of fun, an hour and half of snapping. I need to get out and do that but it's just too darn cold

    we have this Purple Orchid Tree. in Singapore and Malaysia, bur we don't call them orchids.
