Friday Fence-Bray Park 1

Bray Park has a fenced acre Horseshoe Park, I found a lot of pretty fences here, enough for several Friday Fence post

It is nestled in wooded trails on one side and the other by a soccer field.
 So many beautiful trees.
Out side the fence and Inside the fence below

It looks a little like a cemetery doesn't it? The trees made me swoon with joy.

  1. I love the trees the best, they are old and beautiful. There are red memes, and blue ones and fence ones, someone needs to start a tree one!!!

  2. It does look a little like a cemetery in that one shot. That tree is fantastic, I love the way the limbs stretch out. Great fences and you've also got several Things in a Row!

Ginny has a great idea! Maybe Thursday Trees.

  5. I like the third from the bottom best. I didn't know horse shoe throwing was a sport. I learn something everyday.

  9. Bradenton must be one of the most photogenic - and photographed places! What caught this stroke survivor's eye was the long fence with all the green benches in front of it. A perfect place to work on redeveloping walking skills and stamina with an abundance of benches handy if one suddenly runs out of steam!

  10. "Join us for fun and fame" I love it. The message on that fence. :-)

Isn't it amazing, how a bounty of trees, can make even a plain ol' utilitarian fence, look quite lovely in photos?

  12. That park is not only beautiful, but it offers fun for everyone! I LOVE those big strong trees! My son would want to climb right up there and hang with the birds and squirrels. :) It does look like a cemetary from that angle.

  16. This is really a neat park. There's a park in Crossville with a large horseshoe park, but it doesn't have the beautiful trees.

  19. My father loved to pitch horseshoes with his friends. This looks like the perfect area for that or just "being."

  20. Its nice to see that Horseshoes hasn't gone out of style someplace. I think its great that there is a whole park area set aside for it. the entire park complex looks wonderful. Love your take on fences, especially the signs in the first two.

  28. Looks like these fences should keep most people safe from flying horse shoes. I'm curious about the bottles on some of the pegs???

  29. That's some park. It has a little of everything. So I see the sign says men and women welcome to play horseshoes for fun and fame. Will you be joining them?
I remember my dad having horseshoe pits in our back yard.
