We ate Christmas Dinner OUT, as in a restaurant. We were standing in line with over 100 people waiting to get inside and I glanced at the window and saw this. SNAP! because I could
The Ladies restroom wall at Goodwill.... Snap! because I could
K-Mart Parking Lot. Snap! because it was so cute and lonely
Dove on Back yard power line. To far way, wrong light. Snap! because who cares if the light is wrong

Still more of your city, I'm LOVING it!!! You need to go out more by yourself and continue to show us this beauty from your perspective! Who would ever think of snapping the bathroom at Goodwill?? But it is amazing!!! Looks like a fancy zoo bathroom, or a big aquarium. Sister, I snapped the bathroom at the Botanical Gardens, a monkey pattern!!! And where on earth is open to eat on Christmas day??? I'm not able to cook for everyone so we usually end up just having cold cuts. I order trays, but not very good, nothing like a hot meal. Nothing here is open on Christmas.
ReplyDeleteFun photos, Sandra. Just in the last 2 weeks, I've been awakened by mourning doves.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
aw, these photos are really worth the look.
ReplyDeletehave a great day!
What do you mean too far away, wrong light? I love the last shot of the silhouette of the dove looking off into the distance and the palm fronds hanging down.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool painting of the manatee and the fish. I love it! Who could have found such a thing in the Goodwill ladies room? Only the MadSnapper!
Love the refection and all your snaps because you could.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you could!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie

The Joys Of Having A Camera!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteAren't we lucky? We who have learned to love and embrace our cameras? Yes we are!!!
Be they big. Be they small. Be they able to .... *do everything including do the dishes.* -grin- Be they just in a phone. Or be they just my original little cam. Or be they the a-bit-upper one I have now. :-) Wonderful all!
Love Of Cameras And Of Photography ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

amen!
ReplyDeleteYou have the eye of an artist, Sandra. Your snap, snaps are perfect.
ReplyDelete:)
LOVE the dove pics! They are one of my favorite.... Great pics, my friend, as always!
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections and the Manitee painting is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLove all those snaps. Sometimes it is not the light or composition that count but rather the subject matter.
ReplyDeleteYour "snaps" are the best. So glad that you could! (o:
ReplyDeleteHa ha. Smiling because "I can!" :)
ReplyDeleteI like that bathroom wall--very interesting...never seen one quite like it.
ReplyDeleteI always think about eating out at the holidays but decide against it because I like the leftovers too much to give them up.
I'm glad you could SNAP and did, and I'm glad you're sharing these with us. The wall mural is really neat.
ReplyDeleteYou snap great photos! Like all the subjects
ReplyDeleteNothing much around here is open for dinner on Christmas Day... We had a hard time a few years ago finding a place to eat on Thanksgiving. We had gone to Kingsport, TN to pick up a friend and take her out to dinner... There weren't many choices--but we finally found Cracker Barrel open --and dinner was good.
ReplyDeleteGreat snapshots.... I know you enjoy taking pictures.. So do I---but I would never think of taking my camera inside the Goodwill (or somewhere like that). ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy
I love your saying "snap because I could"! lol I do the same thing! lol I won't leave the house without my camera with me.
ReplyDeleteGreat snaps [because you could] I like those expressions. The picture of the queue mirroring in the window is so cool! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteEva
Is there really any other reason to snap than because you can? If so, I haven't heard. I'm glad you keep snapping, because you can :)
ReplyDeleteThe last two photos make such striking silhouettes.
ReplyDeleteWhy not snap, snap? As Forrest Gump philosophized, "you nev know what you will get." soundalike good logic to me...and you too?
ReplyDeleteyour winter is not that bad right? otherwise I don't want the 100 waiting outside. My dad and Husband would say, come on, lets get home and eat instant noodles. It happened once when we waited more than 1 hour.
ReplyDeleteWow....that rose in the header is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow smart of you to take your camera with you and use it while you waited in line! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your "because you can" photos! They're all great! I love the dove on the power line. The painting of the manatees is really cool. I'm pretty sure Cracker Barrel was opened for Christmas here in Orlando.
ReplyDeleteI need to carry my camera with me at all times. You're an inspiration. :)
I'm so glad you "could" take these lovely pictures. You can do anything you want, Sandra!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlways a joy here Sandra!
ReplyDeleteYou are full of sass and feelings today. I can. Who cares.
ReplyDeleteBut a 'cute' K-Mart parking lot?
Sandie
