Almost done with the Tanglewood Walk-A-Bout
My first ever wooden stop sign, it is rotting away...
Yes, they do have crime
This little guy ran across in front of me, above is merged 3 shots as he skipped and below after he reached the tree of safety from the MadSnapper (click to enlarge to see how cute he is)

Love the squirrel action shot! He gave you a great pose in the safety of his tree.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a wooden stop sign in a long time and that was in a antique shop. That is so cool.
Tanglewood Drive looks like a nice place to live. Love how you merged the 3 pictures. Very cute and so is the furry little guy
ReplyDeleteSome of my best friends are squirrels....great shots, my friend!
ReplyDeleteFun post Sandra love the wooden stop sign
ReplyDeleteI've been playing catchup and loved coming across your squirrel "action figure". Now if I could just figure out how you did it I could do a series of Oliver chasing squirrels and them giving him a run for his money.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Dense me, I lost your email addy. When you feel up to it, would you please write me an email? So I can contact you.
ReplyDeletePlease and thank you...
I love the names of the roads in Tanglewood, Sandra. Nice shots of the cute little squirrel crossing the road.
ReplyDeletecheers :)
Ha, I love the way you joined the squirrel pictures, shows movement.
ReplyDeleteCrime... even in a peaceful place as Tanglewood.
i do like the merged shot of the scamper rat! :) and the wooden stop sign is quaint!
ReplyDeleteThese are all terrific pics! Cool wooden stop sign. I just love the squirrel pics you put together! That is really neat! And the last pic is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteOkay - that is probably why they don't make wooden stop signs anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnd gosh - the squirrels - they are cute - but they are such pests - we have a hotel upstairs we're running for them and they just never check out!
Love,
sandie
I enjoyed your walk on Tanglewood Drive. I really like your merged photo of the squirrel.
ReplyDeleteHey. Squirrels CAN fly. Who knew. :)))
ReplyDeleteLove the wooden sign-and the squirrels : )
ReplyDeleteWow - you must be really fast with your camera, catching that little fella' running across your path. He is very cute indeed ^_^ I like that old wooden stop sign, haven't seen those before. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteHe is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteIts too bad the wooden stop sign is rotting away.
ReplyDeleteIts really cool. The rot does add great texture to it though.
So far..knock, knock on the wooden sign, the computer is going ok today. We got a new router and I think our computers are really too old for all the new fangled bells and whistles. I'm hoping its not my laptop dying a slow death. I will not be happy!!
Someone should preserve that wood stop sign! I've never seen one. At first I thought you caught 3 squirrels in one shot! Nice editing.
ReplyDeleteNever seen a wooden traffic sign, Sandra, and wondered if this was one of a kind? The merged squirrel shots were very clever too.
ReplyDeleteOh MadSnapper - you do have fun- and I'm so glad. Love the layering action - that's cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun photos you share and create. Hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteLove your squirrel action ---but if you come up here, I'll give you one picture with 3 different squirrels in it... GADS---we do have the squirrels!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTanglewood Drive looks like a great place... We have a Crime Watch group up here where neighbors look out for each other... It works pretty well...
Hope you are still feeling well.
Hugs,
Betsy
Love the old wooden stop sign Sandra! I don't think I've ever seen one like that before. We have seen one in Ohio that has faded so much that all is left is the metal!
ReplyDeleteLove the squirrel! It's too cute!
Love that squirrel action!
ReplyDeleteSandra, you come up with the neatest shots! Love the squirrels, I may be the only one that likes them and I know they can be a nuisance, but I love to watch them!
ReplyDeleteOh the tangled lives we lead.... sorry, couldn't resist. :) Great post, love all the interaction, and how you tell stories with your photos.
ReplyDeleteThat combo shot of the squirrel is really good... cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the road signs, and the squirrel IS quite.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, The squirrel is cute as can be! I also love the close up of the pine growth in your most recent post. I'm taking a blog break but I'll still be commenting. Hope you have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteIlike what you done with the squirrel!
