Baby Girl is 11 years old. She has an Ear Hematoma, it is 3 times it's normal size and needs surgery tomorrow. I am afraid for her at her age. I do not want her put to sleep for it, but see no way out of it. Thanks for your prayers.

oh, sweet girl! i had a dog that developed one of those many years ago - i feared the same thing, but he came thru okay. i sure hope baby girl does, too!

ReplyDeleteMy late Bizzy boy had this twice. First time needed surgery very costly because it had gotten infected. Second time just waiting it out because there was no infection and it went down on it's own in about 3 weeks.

WHAT?? Did you just take her to to the vet today? I guess if they just did a local, she would move around too much for the surgery. How long will she be under, will she go home the same day, how long will it take?? I will pray for her to be alright. Is this something that really needs to be operated on, is she hurting?
