  1. The real one is lovely too, though.

  4. They are both gorgeous and I expect at just the right time of day you could have captured #2 out of the camera too!! They are both frame worthy for sure as is your Monarch butterfly.

  5. Wonderful. I think I prefer the colours in the original. But either way the image is of the kind that sets the thoughts swirling... For example, I wonder whether they are they bathing or if there is a baptism going on?

  6. A bonus post today! I almost missed it, but the butterfly was so colorful below that the edge shouted to me!! These silhouette pictures are beautiful, to me they show how small we are compared to the universe. I love your edited one, but really I think the two are equally pretty, just different colors. I don't know which I would say is better. The butterfly pictures, WOW!!!! They are gorgeous, a double overload of beauty with the bushes. I love the angles you got, everything about them, they just shut color and beauty!!!! It is making me anxious to snap my first butterflies of the season. Why did you get into trouble as well when the dogs did bad things? Just because you were trying to keep them? I don't know about your dad, it is a good hunch. But I also think that your neighbor could likely have done it on her own, especially after the pillow incident. I'm sure there must have been quite a few neighbors who would have been happy to see them go, we will never know...good story!

  13. Well I am still learning after about 4 years. The top one is a very good shot for me to learn from. Trying to learn better angles at this time. But I am also learning how to work with photoshop. Great post.

  25. I like to see what people do with Photoshop -- of course, it is difficult to photoshop something when the original is already so good.
