when I get all steamed up here me shout.

just tip me over and pour me out.

This sweet teapot graces the table in the kitchen of the Cracker House in Manatee Historical Village, see yesterday post for the home if you missed it.

  2. I DID sing along. I remember my mom singing it, even in her seventies when I would ask her, she would put her hand on her hip like the teapot handle.

  3. I sure was singing along! I love that song! My Grandma taught me that song and I have sung it many times to the grandkids when they were younger. I love how such songs stick in your head. That one is a cutie!

  4. The little teapot is so pretty but what really caught my eye in your first two photos was the glass to the right of the teapot. One of my grandmothers had a set of those.
    Yep, I was singing along!

  5. That pretty little teapot caught my eye yesterday and yes, sang right along with you. ;) I love the dishes with that pretty green delicate lace border - wow! And what is this? In the land where anything can happen, MadSnapper did not add steam?!? I'm shocked! LOL.

  11. Of course I was singing along in my heart, and doing the actions as well. This used to be a song we did often when my granddaughter was little. Now that she is all grown up and the ripe old age of 6 we don't sing it anymore.LOL

  17. Gosh yes. There are just some things that are never forgotten. Except for our grandchildren of today. I have a million songs and poems my grandmother and mother sang to all their children and I did to mine but that's where it's all ending.

I love teapots but just have no room for a collection of them. Great shots of the table setting.
