the buds burst a little each day and it is blooming now, the first flower was on Dec 9th this year.

and about the 3rd day it is a 3 to 4 inch glorious ball of color. it blooms for several months.
And it makes a great Christmas Card.

They look like they have tiny little lights at the end of the stem.
