What Silly Snapper did NEXT

I had so much fun sitting my camera on the counter  making stars, I went to Wal-Mart and bought a Mono-pod ...

It's a stick that attaches to any camera and telescopes to the size I need up to higher than my head.

A mono-pod Removes Old People Camera Shake.  NOTE: a tripod is to heavy for me to carry, and hurts my hands to open it....

While attempting to use the MP on my little tree, the MP slid and it make a squiggle.... You know the rest of the story....

Say it with me NOW...... Because She Could...

If you are interested in doing this.... IF you are.... put it on slow speed.. point and shoot is Fireworks setting and wave the camera up, down, and all around. Below is my other tree that has white lights.

PS...YOU do NOT need a mono-pod to do this.... LOL
PSS... I will be waiting to see YOURS
PSS.. My apologies to all you REAL photographers.....

  1. It is a golden shower, it is beautiful!!!!! I also love the first ones, they look like colored Silly String. This Mono Pod, will any camera ft o it? What is the downside? How much did it cost? I need a tripod but cannot mess with one, this may be the answer. My camera has a little screw hole thing on the bottom for a tripod.

  5. I have seen the mono-pods but wasn't sure if it would be worth getting. I do have a small tripod but I rarely take it with me.

The lights are great. I really like the last one!

  11. Your header is great and the modern art light scapes are fun. TOH uses a mono pod especially with his movie camera.

  15. Oh good grief, you ARE a real photographer. The only difference is the money. lol LOVE these shots, Sandra. And I see now why the monopod is preferred, rather than the awkward, difficult-to-handle tripod.

  16. i think these are great! you goof.

next time you're bored, try flashlight painting. similar concept but you move the flashlight around while the camera stays still. :) i've never done it but have seen others post on it.

  18. Wow this is really neat.
I must put this one on my Birthday list. January from hubby.

    How much are they?
One gal asked. You must give us a update. Or I guess I can browse on line for price also.

When I do my fences to make them look different.

I set my camera on the top of fence but it is tricky. This is much more full prove and safe.

    Love the gaget.Your pictures have
    brilliance alright.

    Thanks for sharing.

I did a wee christmas tree out front and my camera gave me a nice view and they look like butterflies as lights. I must put it up today on my blog.

Can you use this outside in winter?

  29. Honestly I don't have a great camera and I don't even know what a mono pad is. If I had the money and more time I would love to get them.

So for now I get to look at all your wonderful ticks and photos.

    Thanks.

  33. HA HA ---I was getting ready to say that you don't need a mono-pod to take those last group of photos....(But you said it!)

That's some of your 'artsy-fartsy' photos.... ha ha

I do have a mono-pod and took it when we drove to Gatlinburg last year to take night pictures of their Christmas lights... It's handier than my tri-pod...

    Hugs,
    Betsy
