Friday Fence

“Build a little fence of trust around today; Fill the space with loving deeds, And therein stay. Look not through the sheltering bars Upon tomorrow; God will help thee bear what comes of joy and sorrow.”
 Mary F. Butts quote

the path below is in Rye Wilderness Park, about 10 miles from our home. The fence was along side the path.

  2. I love these curvy path edges, and that reddish looking part dead bush on the other side. And I never knew there was more to that poem, I didn't know that part!

  12. Ms. Sandra my mom says she'd love to take a leisurely walk on that path with Mad Snapper. No telling what trouble you two could get into snapping like turtles.

  13. I really like that quote, as well as your photos of the fence. I have some not-so-happy memories of building (and repairing) barbed-wire fences when I was growing up on a farm.

  21. Your verse/quote today reminds me of the Bible verse about building a hedge of thorns around someone for protection.
