At 4 AM July 2nd there were 20 open blooms.
July 3rd there were 6 more.
Each bloom is 14 to 15 inches long and 7 inches across
The Queen only shows her beauty after the sun goes down.
And only July -September

The blooms hang in a giant bridal boquet maybe 25 feet long.

The tree is covered in blooms, I have to shoot through the pine branches.
Gorgeous!!! How very beautiful everything looks! How I love the big bucket of flowers. I can look at your garden, and your beautiful home all day. It makes me happy!

ReplyDeleteHow much do they weigh? So how did you get that first snap in the split screen? The sky is bright blue!! Why do they hide their beauty at night? Usually it's because night flying creatures pollinate them.

ReplyDeleteYour night blooming cactus is beautiful! Looking at the greenery it looks like a cactus? It’s fascinating how they close their petals when light comes. You could almost see that in a prehistoric forest. Your pines are lovely too, both very healthy looking for sure. Great photos!
