Fall Colors - Florida style

Monday September 29th, I searched high and low for fall colors in my backyard.. I found the purple passion plant had grown itself in a perfect wreath on the fence.

I found water droplets on the elephant ears

And then thought... I AM THE MADSNAPPER...

Hello PicMonkey/Hello FALL COLORS
But WAIT! there's MORE......

Pink Hibiscus, blooms year round
I did find True Fall Colors, in fact Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter colors here.

  1. Good Morning! Oh, I love that the vine has made a wreath. I can't wait for my elephant ears to be as pretty as yours. Love the water droplets on them. Love the colors that you added with picmonkey. Hope you have a nice day. Thanks for sharing the pink hibiscus, too.

  5. I'd say you have a "make your own fall" sort of yard. The colors around here aren't as colorful this year. The cool weather has not been good for the trees.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  6. Oh how I dream of days filled with warm weather, luscious green plants all year long, and NO winter coats or snow boots! Our weathered has been perfect the past two weeks, cool mornings, warm afternoons! I love the wreath that Mother Nature created! You do amazing creations with picmonkey!

  8. That first where the Madsnapper strikes again is truly wonderful.

And glad you told that the passion vine grew that way...the first thing I wondered when I opened this post was 'did Madsnapper train it to grow that way?' So you read my mind even before I thought the question and answered it.

  14. Wow, I don't think I have ever seen a baby pink hibiscus! The ones here are bright primary colors. This one is beautiful. What you did with the Elephant Ears is very pretty, too. They look a bit like a large arrowhead plant.

  19. I'll take the pink hibiscus bloom anytime of year! And I LOVE that natural wreath on the fence. What a cool thing.

Your pic monkey creations area always outstanding. [I went out this morning in the drizzle along a birding trail in search of color changes too...found very little.]

  22. We did not even have fall colors during our September week in the Smoky Mountains, Except for a few fallen leaves and the dogwood trees which were beginning to turn. Four grandkids provided plenty of fall fun, though! Kudos on your MadSnapper seasonal color photos. and I appreciated the all natural wreath.
