Dewey is up for adoption.. my favorite of the day.. He was the donation dog with pockets on his costume for money. YES.. I did put money in his pocket.. I am praying someone will adopt him soon.

The majority of the dogs up for adoption were adults from 3 to 7 years old
We adopted Cooper (see Cooper HERE) when he was 7. He was suffering from Kennel stress, in a no kill shelter, but there for a year..We gave him 6 more happy years and joy for us.

There were 100 dogs at the Festival that were up for adoption. The Festival is held at Bishop Animal SPCA each year. A fund raiser and to raise awareness that there are thousands of dogs up for adoption in our county.
Bishop takes in all kinds of
animals, such as the hedgehogs and ferrets it recently adopted
Bishop adopted seven dogs,
eight cats and a guinea pig during the event, and by the end they would have around 50 adopted.

Such sweet faces! How can anyone resist them? I do hope responsible people come forward to adopt them, though.
