This is my friend Rich, we have been friends for 6 years and have a love of dogs in common. He is also my Photo Shop Professor and a big part of my blog because of all the things he taught me...
He loves all dogs, as do I, but the loves of his life, are the ones he has owned over the years. We both got "lots of Lovin" at the Canine Christmas Festival.
Little dogs like these are high on his love list.. Rich these are all for YOU ...
With Husky's and German Shepherds right up there at the top of his list... we have attended the Festival every year since 2009..
See that tiny little dog... each time he snarled at the Shepherd, she jumped back like it could swallow her instead of the other way around.. Made for good laughs.

I love these photos Sandra. Rich sounds like a great guy! The last photo of big dog versus little dog gave me a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteOh how I have lved that event and meeting Rich to pick his brain and yours!! I "oh'd" out loud when I saw that Husky and Shepherd...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI love all of these photos! What beautiful furry friends! I hope you have a terrific Tuesday :)
ReplyDeleteThanks to you and Rich for the dog photos. You know how much I love all those sweet creatures.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I do think it's funny how little dogs try to assert themselves and actually do intimidate even large dogs. My 124 pound German Shepherd was always intimidated by Misty who was half his size. LOL
ReplyDeleteSo happy you and Rich had a good day for the parade. That little dog sounds like a doxie!!!!! I enjoy these photos so much.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, Sandra! I think you have a peach of a friend there.
ReplyDeleteso cute. gotta watch out for those little ones!
ReplyDeleteMS by the time Mom finished looking at your photos of pups and Rich she was smiling as big as you and Rich were smiling when you were at the event.
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs madi and Mom
That first puppy that Rich is petting is soooo cute! I would love to have them all! I would hug each one everyday just like I do our pups now. :) Anyone who loves dogs is a friend of mine. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time! They are definitely man's/woman's best friends!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for a German Shepard for years. No question that I would have adopted that one in a heartbeat. Your friend has nice hair : )
ReplyDeleteThat's funny with the German Shepard backing off from the little dog.
ReplyDeleteLots of cute fur babies here
they are too too cute!! i can't pick a fave. so precious. ( :
ReplyDeleteSandra what I see here is not only the dogs but your love for your fellow human being....
ReplyDeleteI can see you and Rich enjoyed this event and have fun going each year.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this heartwarming post, Sandra, and happy you had a great day with friend Rich. The small dogs are cute and all of them deserve happy homes, which I'm sure they get once they're adopted.
ReplyDeleteLittle dogs are really the feistier ones..very brave.. how cute. I hope all the dogs will be adopted!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful event with so many cute dogs in attendance. I hope all the dogs available for adoption were adopted!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a friend who knows the ropes of photo software. Cute pups, big and small. I haven't seen a small dog yet that didn't have an ego the size of the moon!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful you and your friend, Rich have enjoyed this special event. I laughed about the big dog being afraid of that little dog.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun event to share with your friend,,,♥

The lady in red in the top photo knows exactly how to walk a dog; she's holding the leash correctly. I loved every one of these photos; especially seeing your friend, Rich in your post.
