Beautiful photography of a beautiful bloom. Our plant like this in SA, only blooms in mid-winter:May. Love the selfie as well. Your header made me all nostalgic as it was exactly how my mum's decorations looked. Greetings Jo
A beauty! I like the white one as well. My pink one is huge and has flowered once this year and is ready to flower again - maybe in the new year? (It's got buds).
It's beautiful. Even though I have no green thumb I had a Christmas cactus that I kept alive for a long time. Of course it did eventually die but it held up better than most plants.
TOO funny!! I love seeing YOU, you are looking so concentrated! This is the prettiest one I have ever seen. Plant Nursery...is it Bob's or a retail one? I would think it is Bob because it is growing so wonderfully. It is abundant and glorious.
i really enjoy your oops shot .. i can see myself doing something very similar. i usually get my thumb or something like the camera strap in there. ha. ha!!
It is a beautiful Christmas Cactus! I had a huge one - it strated small as a gift from one of my Sunday School students YEARS ago!!! When my mother was ill in November we had a really hard freeze and I was in Fort Worth at the hospital with her. It was outside and looks totally ruined! I wonder if there's any possibility of it coming back?
Hee hee photo bombed your own shot. Great shots of this beautiful plant. I have a few on my deck but they are not in flower down under until winter. So we don't call them Christmas cactus but Zygocactus but its real name is Schlumbergera. (say that)
I was going to post my Christmas Cactus today too. It went from one blossom last year to about 30 blooms this year. I have never had it bloom like this. Guess I will have to get on the ball and post it sometime today. Love the photo bomb!
It is a beautiful plant. Cute selfie too. My plant does not have as many blooms. Have a happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blossoms. Smiling at your selfie.
