Help! there is a lizard on my leg...
Baby says "I'll get it Mommy"
Baby" "See, I got it by one toe... "
Mommy: "Never mind, I have it and will put it in the bushes"
GOTCHA! this is a re-enactment and a rubber lizard was used. the true story is, I was sitting in the swing, in the sunshine, with my head back, eyes closed and swinging back and forth. I felt a pine needle fall on my leg and opened my eyes and their sat a 5 inch black lizard on my leg... I scared him as bad as he scared me because when I STARTLED he ran up my leg and on to the swing arm and was gone.
Yikes!!! Oh, that would have scared me to death!

I think they are cute lizards. But, I am not sure if I would like the feeling of one crawling on me, yikes! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteYou had me fooled with the rubber lizard. He looked real to me. I know for a fact that having one of those crawl up my leg would seriously freak me out
ReplyDeleteOH MY WORD.I WOULD HAVE NEEDED A WARDROBE CHANGE IF IS SAW THAT LIZARD ON MY LEG. I DON'T MIND THEM IN THE BUSHES ETC BUT THEY ARE SO QUICK NO TELLING WHERE IT MIGHT HAVE VENTURED. LOL LOL LOL

Has! I love lizards, but the shock of seeing one on my leg would startle me too and I'm sure I'd fling him off. But they are so cute. So much better than mice!
ReplyDeleteI do believe I would not survive a lizard getting on me! I like to look at them but my entire life I have been afraid of having one on my body. Of course I have been bullied by many people over the years thinking it would be funny to put one on me Not!

Oh my GOSH! Was he this same size-big? Huge! Because this is not your usual cute little lizards! I would have both peed and pooped my pants, then fainted. Thanks for the scary Stephen King reenactment, LOVE it! the only thing it lacks is the music from Jaws.

ReplyDeleteI made the race cars for the kids, and an easy tiramisu for the grownups. So that is what the boys were eating. The tiramisu of course had coffee in it, and I gave Anne a taste of mine. She wrinkled her nose and needed a palette cleanser.
