We came home from the YMCA yesterday and Bob said "I have a project for you"... I asked "What is it?" he walked over to me and said I need you to sew on a button"
Clue the brahaha giggles NOW..... He had his shorts on inside out.. we laughed ourselves silly because the button was inside... then he said AND someone also stole my pockets....
Bob has a dozen pair of shorts like these and more than a dozen shirts like this and this is what he wears every where we go, except for maybe 5 jeans days a year...if you are asking how this happened, he steps in them, they have a flat front and elastic back...
Tale 2... this morning he said...
" I have good news for us.. THEY just said underweight people are much more likely to have dementia"
I said... "bring on the Oreo's" he said "bring on the chocolate ice cream"
I said " Good now we have our MEDS of Choice to keep us from going crazy?

How funny!
ReplyDeleteThis latest info is just the push you needed to buy oreos!
Sounds like a fun morning!
ReplyDeleteHubby did wear his underwear backwards to Andrew's last musical event. It was a hurry up and go and he did verify they were on wrong when he got home.
I shall rejoice in my rotundness.
Sandra, funny stories.. My hubby is known for the clothes being inside out..
ReplyDeleteIt is good to know Chocolate Ice cream may actually be good for me, YUM!
Haha! Love this. Go take your meds! Have a great weekend, you two. :-))
ReplyDeleteMaybe if Roger had oreos and chocolate ice cream he wouldn't lose his watch so often...hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteYour hubby sounds like a load of fun to have around...thanks for the giggles!
ReplyDeleteYes we heard about the dementia thing. Great excuse for chocolate. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I'm saying that chocolate malts and hamburgers are my prescription drugs.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Tell Bob I said don't feel bad. I put my shirt on inside out the other morning and sometime in the afternoon walked to the mailbox to get the mail. That's when I noticed. I guess better then than when I went to the grocery store later. Bring on the chocolate! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's called a senior moment, we have lots of these and prefer to laugh at them and not worry. My flip flop felt funny the other day and I realised that I didn't have my toe between the thong. lol
ReplyDeleteYes, I heard that bit about dementia, so, there's some good in being cuddly after all.

I like Bob's wardrobe... One season with no winter coats would be so nice!
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL MOL MS and Bob you two are tooooo funny. My peeps agree about ice cream...the have heard that senior citizens need a little Xtra weight as they age..to compensate should they be sick...
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday
Hugs madi and mom
you're so silly. and both so cute. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! You are at your Erma Bombeck everyday stories BEST! I think Bob looks very good in the shorts and green tank, love the colors. I say, if you have the body, wear whatever you want! And Bob DOES. He does not look very much overweight. By the way, HOW did you get him to pose for you? Maybe the motorcycle did it? I have been SO worried about dementia after my visit with the neurologist! Now I can think "don't worry, be happy!!!"
ReplyDeleteI read that article, too, and I thought "YIPPEE"!! haha!
ReplyDeleteBob looks good in his shorts and what I call muscle shirt. You all are lucky to live in the kind of climate where you can wear them all the time. Sometimes I think I could easily move to Florida where I wouldn't need a coat or boots!
Pretty funny all right. But you know what? At our age who cares what we do or what we look like (as long as it's legal, that is). We're long past trying to impress anyone with our good looks and stylish outfits!
ReplyDeleteGood news about underweight people much more likely to suffer from dementia! I bet you made a LOT of your readers happy. :))
ReplyDeleteYou guys are crazy funny ! LOVE your blog!! :)
ReplyDeleteIn our local paper. A man 65 went to the gym.
ReplyDeleteThen he came home and had a wee nap.
He never woke up.
So I guess he would be better to be underweight. Little late now.
What a shocker it is real sad.
For wife and family.
oh made me laugh about Bob.
ReplyDeleteYou two are a hoot. Humor is the
health medicine. Go ahead Bob you can eat some ice-cream.
My hubby wears those shirts.
Has every color.
Boy Bob has nice thick hair .
looks like Bob is the real
attraction in this blog. Is that Motorcycle Bobs? Pretty groovy.
You actually had me laughing out loud on all counts.
ReplyDeleteHe and Rick have so much in common.
ReplyDeleteBring on those Oreo's!
That's too funny. I enjoyed this post. You two are so cute together!
ReplyDeleteWell, this is great news for me too...what shall I have Lemon Meringue Pie or a Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffin tonight?...:)JP
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I'm going back for a second bowl of ice cream :)
ReplyDeleteFun post! It's easier to laugh when it happens to someone else. ;) Please pass the Oreos and ice cream!
