Sun Paintings 4


Each morning, Jake anxiously awaits the darkness to depart for the first ball game of the day... These photos were taken at 7 AM just as the sun got high enough to beam a flashlight through tree branches and paint the staghorn.

This small air plant about the size of a tennis ball, hangs on the cable wire that brings us the internet to post this for you....  It is small and gray and has no color at all until the Sun Paints It.

    I can't believe I am your first - or among your first - comments of the day! That's because I am up late at night OR I could say I am up extremely EARLY!!!
    YOU love the sun and the light and I love the moon and the dark! I think we are both PERFECT! Perfectly suited for our individual lives!!! I am going to bed now, Sandra, just 2 hours before YOU get up!!! I love knowing you and think of you often as I go through my day - which begins many hours AFTER yours has started - but ends much later!

    i, too, love the sun. I feel motivated and rejuvenated when the sun shines! Great images of the staghorn and airplant.

    Those are beautiful pictures. I love to watch the sun rise, but in summer that's about it for me as far as sun goes. I like the winter sun much better.

    Fabulous sun paintings and photos. I love the way the sun hits the Camalias in my garden but I can't capture it very successfully.
