Oh Well! What Can I say?

Nope, I did not NEED a new camera.... I bought the camera..........we pretended this was my birthday present for Sept 5...

Bob, did not NEED a new plane....He bought the plane...We pretended this is Bob's Birthday Present for Oct 1 when he will be 79

Murphy came to visit because he KNEW we spent Above and Beyond in the past 3 weeks. Murphy put a hex on our Lawn Mower and it DIED DEAD in the Driveway... (have you ever wondered why we say Died Dead? I mean can we die alive?)

Meet our NEW lawnmower, bought AFTER the summer Sales, when we had to pay Full Price.
AND NOW....

  3. Ahh, we have been there. My son's lawnmower just died too. I think this gas is bad for the motors. Wonderful birthday presents, you both deserve them! Happy Birthday to Bob!

    Enjoy your day!

  14. Poor Piggy! You have lots of nice things to show for it. I don't like missing a sale, especially on a large-ticket item. But you don't know you need one until you need it! Don't worry, you still have blogging and all your friends, and we don't charge!

  16. Yes, that's the way it goes!!! However, I must say that since I don't live in your neighborhood, the lawn mower is not what I am excited about! Neither am I excited about that plane although I am SO happy your hubby is!!! I AM excited about your new camera!!! That's because I am going to enjoy all those photos you are going to be taking!!!

  17. Same thing happened here this month, Sandra. We bought a music system, new bedding, and over the weekend uograded our cell phones. These were big expenses all in the same month, but had been in the thinking stages for several months. Finally, we just "did it" with no regrets (so far) and I am sure that you and Bob feel the same about your new treats...if one can use that to refer to a lawn mower. As far as the "died dead" wording, we always laugh when we see things like "live" lobster cause who wants a dead one?

  19. I've had bad karma lately too. I say enough is enough! Just think of the lawn mower as another toy and maybe the price won't sting so much!
