Flamingo Fun from 2009


  Jungle Gardens, Sarasota Florida ,Meet Tommy Moore, 3 years old. But that was in 2009. I got an email from his father giving permission to post these photos.

    I did this with camels in the Budapest Zoo and it was lots of fun!

    Oh you know mom loves that reddish flamingo and little Tommy matches him in his red shirt. Wow they flamingos must be used to humans...that is some beak and but it appears it is very gentle

    Cute photos. That beak is a bit scary but I have never seen anyone feed them before.
    Hoping to get out and do a bit of "snapping" today. Yesterday just didn't work.
    I think some hot apple cider donuts are in our future...

    There were plenty of animals that I fed when I was growing up but a flamingo was never one of them
