Big Cat Habitat..Petting Zoo...

Emu
Male Emus incubate the eggs, one of which is the size of a dozen chicken eggs... the eat plants, grains, insects and ROCKS.. yes. Rocks, it aids their digestion... they live 10 to 20 years in the wild.

I wanted this post to last, so I llamanated it.


Llama explain all this, there were goats there to at the Big Cat Habitat. Big Cat Habitat is NOT a zoo. I is a wild life rescue sanctuary.

See the shorts with flip flops? that's Lola... See ME? With the camera? That is Madsnapper... we were about to Walk On The Wild Side with the Big Cats.. my friends walked right out of the photo..

    ostriches also eat just about anything including stones... llamas are such weird and wonderful creatures...

    The last picture is my favorite! With you, your camera. and your fleeing friends. Our D-I-L got spit on by a lama, you have to stay at distance. Did not know the dad emu hatches the eggs! I suppose after they hatch, he is outta there!

    Chickens eat grit for the craw to help digest their food. Maybe it's a feather thing.

    I guess in a tight, they could feed the goats to the tigers...gotcha!
