Bob and Sandra's Saturday Walkabout

We went for an early Saturday morning walkabout down by the river, on the path called Riverwalk that runs between two bridges and is 2.5 miles round trip.

Are you thinking that shore is a long comment?  Did you know pier pressure keeps a dock floating above water?  Are you thinking is this real life or is it just Fanta sea?

True or False... A rising tide lifts all boats.     False.. Sunken boats are unaffected by tides.

Sea, they never stop! it is just ME del-rivering more puns...

Wishful Thinking

  1. I love your puns! And the pier looks so peaceful, especially with a pensive man at the rails. Thanks for taking us along on your walk.

  2. You are the master of word play. I love how you do these. I would have loved to have taken that walk too. I wanted to go out for a walk yesterday but every time I looked out it was raining

  3. Hello Sandra, I would love this riverwalk. As always, the puns are great. Does Bob want a boat? Happy Sunday, enjoy your day!

  4. Due to your 'rising tide; sunken boats' I was able to get back at the RG. He recently told me a deer can jump higher than a five story building. Because... a building can't jump.
    Love your bright Christmas header.

  6. Wow, what a beautiful post you have today. I think it is a classic. First, I was delighted to visit and see your gorgeous header!! The greens and touch of red really pop on the black background. Then the beautiful boats, palm trees, and reflections. And last but not least the beautiful long shot of Bob standing on the pier looking out at the boats. All so wonderful and a real Florida Christmas post. Plus a laugh, loved the sinking boats joke!!!

We ventured out to a Chinese buffet just a couple of minutes from home. It was delicious.

  9. Cool reflections, but Bob's 'reflecting' is a KEEPER!
I only need to consider the cost of insuring a baby like that and ka-pow, it's allure is all gone!
