We are ok

Bob and I and Jake are all fine our city is not. We still have 40% of the people without power but we have power and air conditioning but we have no internet access no television and no telephone except for my little TracFone for emergencies. This is just an update to let you know that we're okay and that I'll be back to blogging when we get access which we have no idea when that will be. Miss all of you. You can send me an email if you regularly email with me and I will come to Publix I'm sitting behind Publix using the free WiFi on my tablet so if you want to send me an email I'll read it the next time I come down here it's about six-tenths of a mile from our house see you when I see you

    Hello Sandra, thanks for the update. I am glad to hear you all are doing fine.

    I hope your city is back to normal soon. Have your spoken to anyone at the cable company? Take care and I hope your internet is back on soon.

    OMCs I know you are thrilled to have a/c and power but dang I KNOW YOU ALSO MISS YOUR INTERNET/WiFi/Cable.
    I'm glad you have a spot near by for a quick fix every so often and it gets you out of the house!!

    Glad to hear you're back on electricity even if not yet back on the internet etc. I know you must really miss that, though (I know I would) so I hope it gets sorted soon! Hugs!

    One thing I am glad you have is air conditioner - that would have to be so hard. Is your pool up and running? What a mess. My heart goes out to everyone there.

    SO glad to get a post from you!! So what do you do in the day with no T.V. pool, or tech? I guess you do a lot of reading! and driving to WiFi places. Are you using the Y pool, or is it up and running? I am sending you this in your e-mail, too.

    My uncle lives outside of Locust Grove Ga and he was without power till this past Thursday. Wicked storm.

    So glad that you are okay but it must be hard without all your services but it must be awful for all those others in your community who are worse off. I hope your city can be restored as soon as possible.

    I praise God you have power and AC! Still - it's not a good thing to be isolated and that's wht it feel like when you have no Internet and TV - unless you CHOOSE to not have any!
