ReplyDeleteYears ago my ex and I were driving home and spotted a vehicle upside down in a field. Someone else had already stopped and was searching for the driver. We helped and ended up finding him a ways away from his truck. I heard he was paralized. He was lucky to be alive.
ReplyDeleteScary stuff. I guess most people just think it'll never happen to them. Then of course the drinkers always head out thinking they're fine to drive.
I forgot to add, on a lighter note, did the trooper say if the dummy was dead?

ReplyDelete... okay, am guessing that seatbelt wearing is not the law in your state? Over here if you roll, you might still die, but at least you died in your own seat... (sorry, very dark humour, but truth nonetheless.) YAM xx
I only had one bad wreck when I was 20. If I had not had on a seatbelt I am pretty sure I would have been killed. Scary.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the demo and I hope and pray lots of distracted drivers see it. Even with a seat belt on their obsession with things other than the road could put them in a similar fix.

Hello, it is scary. Years ago my son flipped his car turning a corner too fast. He was lucky, he had no injuries. The car was a goner! Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great demonstration. I was on Mark's back this past weekend about driving. Everyone was drinking way too much and I didn't want to drive the van that holds 12 people! Luckily on Friday night Adam was our designated driver. I brought our breathalyzer which everyone enjoyed playing with. Looking to see who had the most alcohol in them!!
