Suzanne..# 4

# 4 opened when #1 was 2 weeks old  Check out the shadows cast on my fingers in the collage. Cell phone pics..
I LOVE THESE FLOWERS.

Suzanne says, where ever you go, no matter the weather, always bring your own sunshine!

My new motto is Keep Calm and Plant On..... If you love yellow flowers click HERE

Susan, the first one to open, has been open a full 4 weeks, she is starting to droop, but drooping well and number 4 is on the same stalk as this one.  5, 6 and 7 are almost ready

  1. A whole page of sunflower puns! The first one is amazing! The green leaves are almost the same shape and size as the petals. And they surround the center just like the petals. So it appears there are yellow and green petals. I have never seen this in a flower!! In fact, when I first saw it, I thought it may be a large flower craft made from material like felt. That is how perfect it is.

  8. I like these too, they used to grow in a park not far from where I live, but they have made a lot of changes there the last few years, not sure if they still have these (haven't checked just recently!)

  9. You share the most beautiful Susan's! I like how you put them on your hand. It gives them perspective but also makes them stand out.
