Throwback Thursday


For many years I created headers and changed my header sometimes daily, sometimes weekly. Since I have nothing to say and am off to TOPS meeting today, I am showing a couple of Past Headers

 Just Because I can.  

The photo above, I took because my friend who lived in a nursing home asked me to prove her friend was not destroying the plants in the planters in their courtyard. She said her friend was unjustly accused of pulling out the plants.

I gladly snapped these guys eating flowers and leaves and digging up plants and dropping on the ground. GOTCHA! Guilty Squirrels!


Above one of the old painted homes in our local artist community... Can you tell and artist lives in this home?

    I remember this house and LOVE it! And the PORCH!!! Your squirrels and flowers is truly beautiful. It looks like some kind of decoupage collage artwork.

    Aww, the squirrels are cute. Nice that you could get the picture and clear your friends friend. I don't remember seeing that one on the blog before but I do remember the house. Maybe not from the header but I remember when you posted about the artist community

    I love both...but oh, boy, that artist's house I really, really love.

    I have not changed my header on Pics & Pieces in years, and change the other one about 3 times a year...maybe 4.

    The squirrels look so innocently cute, and yet...! :o
    It reminds me of when I found out who was inconsiderate enough to take flowers from vases in the graveyard and just strew them around. It turned out the culprits were crows and magpies, not wanting roses in their drinking cups...

    Happy trip to TOPS. I'm glad I don't have to report today...
    It's such a struggle and life seems to get in the way.
    Keep on ...keeping on.
    Love the headers.
    We have wonderful bright sunshine today...
    It's glorious after the gray, moist days we have had.
    Love what you did with the artist's house. It makes me feel so happy.

    That pix of the squirrels looks like something out of Life magazine! (Remember that?) My mind knows they're rodents, but gosh I love to watch them. (And Tom says one of these days I'm going to wreck the car so as not to hit one.) That artist's home is so cute! I love the yellow and the porch; yep, I could live there happily the rest of my life!

    these are both such happy and pretty photos! you know squirrels and flowers are two favorite things in life to me :) that house makes me want to go inside and buy things and then sit outside with drinking a glass of tea while people watching.
