Soooo TIRE'D

I love puns, and sometimes they fall flat. But I always have a spare one or two.😘😘

We just had to purchase new Tires. Cost $612.00 added to the $129.00 for a new battery 2 weeks ago.

I sat reading on my Kindle but found it hard to concentrate because of all the comings and goings. I put the book down and since everyone but me was poking a phone, I poked mine.

I tried to hold the phone so NO ONE KNEW I was poking the CAMERA....not the phone. Glancing down at my feet nearly touching a strange man's feet, I thought I am thankful I have the money to buy the tires and thankful we are sitting here in sandals the last day of January, while others are stuck in the Polar Vortex.

  1. Our phones sure make it easy to entertain ourselves when we have to wait for anything. What did we do back in the day before they came along?
No sandals for me today. We got snow last night. Not a lot but it's windy out there and when I let Gibbs out it felt VERY cold. Not sure what the temperature is

  3. That is funny MS
Monday we were sitting in the Toyota waiting room while Gracie got her 30,000 check up. I took several magazines for us. EVERYONE was poking at their phones. Bryan said look at everyone all hunched over their phones.

  4. I agree...I'm always thankful I have the money for things we need. And it's nice to have the mild weather. We woke up to some rain showers this morning but that's pretty nice too. I'll do laundry! lol Enjoy your day! Hugs!

  5. There have been days here in TN that in Jan and Feb that we could have worn ours BUT....the next day we would need to pull the boots out again. CRAZY weather. Really not had a winter, but whatever it is we have had it has been a rainy one. Today and tomorrow SUNSHINE! Friday and through the weekend, more rain. Thanks, the furbabes love that folks follow them on FB and blogworld.

  7. Wow, that's a lot of money! Is this the feet of you & Bob? Matching shoes! Love the jeans, or are they jeggings? Maybe this is NOT you, because the pants do not look like jeggings. Yes, Polar vortex for us. But today is sunny, and around 50! Perfect day for a funeral, which is what we are going to in a bit.

  8. Sandals. Good grief! And I'm wearing my tall Columbia fleece lined boots. Lol. Enjoy that warmth! At least we have lots of sunshine.

  9. Whew! I mis-read your title and was growing concerned you were coming down with something. Giggling about your stealth photo shoots. Aren't those unexpected car expenses the worst? Like appliances, I suspect the manufacturers are purposely building them to expire sooner rather than later. Grrrr.

  10. Hello,
I think we need new tires soon too. Car repair and upkeep is not cheap. Who's feet are you almost touching, a stranger? Wishing you a happy day!

  11. I could wear sandals, but then I would probably trip and fall, so I don't anymore!

  12. Oh my, glad you had the money to get the car back in shape...I'm so afraid ours is going to need all that very soon too.
No sandals for us today. It's been raining steadily since 8PM last night.
Got the pumps going in the back yard...I guess the mountains are really being hit with snow/rain and tremendous wind gusts.
Think I will stay put down here in the flatlands...

  14. Yes, be thankful for the warmer weather. You would not be wearing sandals where I am, unless of course you wanted to literally freeze your feet.

  17. Always fun to take candid shots. People watching is always fun :) I look at your sandaled feet and then at my own covered in thick woolly socks. Can't moan as it got up to 70 degrees. In actual fact it is warmer outside than inside. I opened the door to let the warm air in!
