Lessons from the Canine World of Dog Parks...
Joy is portable, bring it with you.
Always be joyful, never stop playing.
Run on, Run on, and you will never run alone...
Joy is not in things, it is in US..
Photos from my archives... Bray Park Dog Park, 2006..... the small dog is my friends dog Samantha, deceased last year at age 17.

A really good analogy with the joyful dogs!
ReplyDeleteSuch true inspiring words! Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteJoy is portable, bring it with you. I love that. Dogs really know what joy is all about, people could learn a thing or two
ReplyDeleteInspiring words. (Except for the loss of a fur-ever friend).

I so agree that joy is within us...also, no one makes us happy. It comes from within...from a joyful spirit.
ReplyDeleteWhoever said dogs don't smile is full of bologna! (Not the word I had in mind, but you know …)
ReplyDeleteFeeling achy this morning and Tom's cranky, so obviously I needed to read this. Love it!

Sweet photos and what a great idea these dog parks are.
ReplyDeleteDogs really know how to life the good life if given half a chance.
ReplyDeleteWe humans can learn so much by watching our dogs!
ReplyDeleteLouis Dean and I were just talking this morning about Joy. We aren't promised an easy life with little or no pain and sorrow but we are promised Joy no matter what circumstances we are in! Great analogy Preacher Sandra!!! Preach on!!!
ReplyDeletePS You really are your father's daughter!!!
Hey I love that last photo you made - what do you think about me borrowing that?
ReplyDeleteDogs can teach is a lot!!
ReplyDeleteI always find it amazing how dogs, like when Skye goes to the kennel, play together. However my brother and sister in law in Illinois had their dog attacked at day care one day. She is fine, you can't see the scares but what a scary thing.
ReplyDeleteWell said. And may summer bring you joy as it begins.
ReplyDeleteWe Homo sapiens need to follow their example more often by fully taking joy in the moment.Have a joyful weekend!
