I love this style too, is it called Craftman. I always love the porches too, the fencing looks pretty too, everything matches. Enjoy your day and weekend!
Because (almost) everything in my home is 50 shades of brown … you knew I'd love this! The mailbox is adorable, isn't it? What caught my eye are those 'faces' cast in stone(?). I think there's a name for that craft, but it escapes me. Another cuppa and I'm off to the races once more. Have a good one!
Now this one is up my alley. (pun intended) Craftsman style brings back a wealth of memories from a few homes I spent time visiting in during my childhood. And the deep porches, aaah.
I have ever seen a house like this. The front of the roof is so unusual. And the fence is different, too. They even put shingles o the posts! Unusual and sweet! It would make a great honeymoon cottage.
I call these Grandma Houses....love them too. I especially like the porch. I think I would sit out there a lot. Pretty door too. It's a beautiful Fall day today and I need to get out and take a few pictures...... We've been on an emotional roller coaster this last week. I'm hoping things will begin to smooth out. Sometimes its emotionally exhausting and I don't seem to be able to hand my troubles over to the Lord as I should. I guess I am preaching to myself at this point. Sometime I will share details but now isn't the time. Dave and I helped at Celebrate Recovery last night. Its always a pleasure to serve .

ReplyDeleteI love the style of this house too. In my opinion simple is a bolder statement all the technicolor on some and yard art
