Hi, its ME.. 😜 Sandra

Sandra the orangutan is here in FL... photo from CNN and story HERE on CNN

Bob had his eye laser surgery this past week and now he sees perfectly with no glasses.

He was a TAD shocked when he could see me in my pink blanket... HEH HEH HEH I heard him say, I did not know you have RED hair! And What Big Eyes you have.

ALERT!  Bob got his sight back, I lost my MIND... I left 15.00 worth of stew meat in the trunk of the KIA for SEVEN hours.   Brought in everything but that. by the time I remembered it, it was 3 pm. I wanted to cry throwing it away, PLUS now there is nothing for the Crockpot Sunday am, that was to be 4 meals this week. The orangutan has more sense than I DO.

  2. I'd be heartbroken having to throw out the stew meat. Bob is singing I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW

  3. Hello,

That is sad to throw away the stew meat, I would be sick too. Love the photos of Sandra the orangutan. I am happy for Bob, that his eye surgery went so well. Have a happy day!

Well, Sandra O, I see that you enjoy a snack of capsicum, as do I!!!

Seriously though, it is fab that Bob has new eyes - if only they could do ears the same way, right?

Ugh - heartbreaking about the meat. This is the kind of 'menosoup' that hits me, but while it has sometimes meant chucking a dish of butter (which needs fridges, not ovens...), nothing so drastic or expensive as the meat has happened. Yet. YAM xx

  6. 'Sandra O' looks like a sweetie … but seriously, "legal personhood"? I'm shaking my head and chuckling, too. What's next, bears?
Wish I might qualify for that laser surgery; his is a whole new world!

That's awful about the stew meat! At least you remembered it before the 'aroma' began to infiltrate your car's interior.

  7. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH no on the meat. Geez that is a real bummer.
Once a piece of fruit rolled out of the grocery bag in to a hidden spot.
What a smell days later but at least it wasn't expensive.
Sandra you need to go visit Sandra O

  8. That orangutan does not have all the things to take care of like you do! I am amazed I did not think of the I Can See Clearly Now for Bob! I am glad that both eyes are good now!

  9. Oh my..disaster for sure. I love your "new portrait"..
Wow that laser surgery did a miracle for Bob. So happy for his new eye sight.
So sad for your meat situation. That's a lot of meals going in the garbage and not the crock pot.

  12. Sandra's story is so interesting!! Sorry about the stew beef, it can make a lot of different meals for sure! But it is understandable considering Bob's surgery.

  13. Hooray for Bob being able to see so well now.
So by the time you found the meat was it cooked sitting in the car? That would be painful having to throw out that much meat.

  14. If beef is as expensive around your place as it is here, than that is quite loss. I told my son the other day that I was hungry for roast beef, but had to take out a loan first, to be able to buy a roast.
