Snowmen

May your blessings be to numerous to count during this holiday season and in the coming New Year.

At our Christmas party for TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) group, the room we use in the church was decorated for their party. Yay for lots of snowmen. they were every where.

To be continued tomorrow...…….

Isn't it interesting how strongly the idea of snow is related to Christmas, a festival that arose because of the birth a lad in a dry and arid land..? These are fun though. YAM xx

    1. Sandra, thanks for letting me know about the comment glitch. I changed the format to pop-up comments instead of embedded to see if that might help truth and others.

  4. I grew up with lots of ooing and awwing about the'big' snows we get from time to time. But what they have to do with Christmas is questionable. Just shows the influence of advertising and entertainment I guess. And maybe we like them because they are usually depicted as a jolly happy soul.

I do your new year is full of good things...

  9. Love the snowmen. Like everyone else was saying it's funny how we associate snowmen with Christmas even though they have nothing to do with it.

  14. I gave nearly all my snowmen collection to Summer this year! I had so many decorations I could have decorated several houses!
In Texas we don’t get much more snow than you do in Florida! Has Florida EVER had snow? That may be why we are so fascinated by snowmen!
